Google has recently removed customer reviews of sites/companies such as Yelp and TripAdvisor from Google Places. Google Places its own company helping people find the best local business at anywhere they go. Yelp and TripAdvisor were two of many other competitors in this field.
Google noted in its official blog that the move was made after the United States antitrust investigation published a disclosure. The Huffington Post Notes:
