The Anonymous group has recently taken a new step in boycotting PayPal. It now asks users to boycott this online payment gateway. Another group of hackers called LulsSec has also signed the statement asking users to boycott PayPal.
Earlier, this group took down PayPal website because the service stopped all financial activities to WikiLeaks. According to reports, the step was taken about a week after Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested 14 people suspicious to be members of Anonymous group in taking down PayPal website last December.
As most of the time, the group posted a statement on Pastebin, saying that it was outraged by the arrest of those people who were involved in ethical hacking against greedy organizations such as PayPal.
"The first step to being truly free is not putting one's trust into a company that freezes accounts when it feels like, or when it is pressured by the U.S. government," notes the statement.
However, PayPal said apparently nobody heard Anonymous' appeal as they are monitoring everything to be unchanged so far.
